Mi vida en fotos

...so I figured I'd leave a few pics so you guys can get a better idea of what I experience/see in my everyday life. Enjoy =)

First...my lovely accommodations courteous the Benavides family...

And here to the left is the school I teach in, Easy English. We use the glass walls as our "whiteboards"...innovative, right? I'll get a pic of the outside one of these days when I remember. It's quite nice.

This is the lake at San Martin de Valdeiglesias. It's roughly a 30 minute drive from our place in Boadilla, but we go there relatively often because it's so pretty. It's great in the summertime.

And the lovely Plaza Mayor, probably the biggest central plaza in Madrid (to my knowledge) and very prone to tourists, for obvious reasons. Here there are offices, shops, pisos, and tons of little cafe's/restaurants. In the summer this place is completely packed with people.

Here's me being exceptionally classy in front of...an Arc of some sorts, right in front of Parque de Retiro (Madrid's huge centralized park, DUH.) I am far too lazy to look up the name of this monument, and feel quite ashamed that I don't know it, seeing as though I walk past this area at least once a week.

And of course Retiro Park. If you have ever heard of Madrid, known anyone who has been there, Google'd it, than you can count on having seen this picture thousands of times. You can row little rentable boats on the water year-round. If you are not interested in that, you can always goof around with the gypsies that inhabit the park. Just be careful, or you may find yourself broke by the end of the day.

I'll leave you all with a typical pic of Sebastian and I, in Plaza del Sol (tourist haven of Madrid.) This area is central to a number of different bars/clubs/shopping. If you're looking for Americans, go here.

Okay well that's about it for me. Hope you enjoyed it.
